This site houses my artwork and fanfiction as well as tons and goodies. It started off as a pure Roswell and Dark Angel site but has since branched out into other fandoms like Supernatural, Veronica Mars, Buffy and Alias. Additionally you can find tons of screencaps and scans here as well as brushes, textures and tutorials.
This site uses php, mysql databases, javascript, div layers, css as well as tables. It is best viewed in 1024x768 resolution or higher and I strongly recommend browsing this site with firefox. Enjoy your stay!
...to let you know that this site is not dead. I have a new layout that is almost finished, new art and a new part of WTRBTF. So a major update is coming up soon.
Laters, my ducklings.

Added 4 Roswell wallpapers and 3 avatars. And for those who are wondering, yes, I have been working on WTRBTF. I have about 1/3 of the next part done. Hope to post it soon. Sorry for the delay, I was completely blocked on that story for a while, but it's going rather nicely right now. At least when I actually find the motivation to write.
I don't know what it's like in the rest of the world, but here, the weather seriously sucks. It's June, but it feels like October. Normally we have 30°C, now we have less than 10°C. Very depressing. I feel like doing exactly nothing 90% of the time. Gah.
What else is there to tell? I had my 5-year high school reunion on Friday. It was pretty fun, I haven't seen some of the people in ages. We invited some of our teachers as well. Only three of them came, but it was still rather amusing to see them again. Didn't get to talk much to them though. Not that I really wanted to that badly, but it would have been fun to talk to my old math teacher.
Yesterday, Saturday, my sister and her boyfreind invited me, my brother + his girlfriend and a couple of our friends over for dinner. Reminded me that I need to get together with my two oldest friends more often. We don't see each other nearly enough.
Other than that, my cat has suddenly developed the strange habit of coming home and actually staying here for a few hours. Usually, he comes home, eats, stays for two minutes and leaves again. But lately, he's been spending an unusually large number of hours in my bed, sleeping. Not that I'm complaining. It's just weird.
That's all folks. Laters, my ducklings...

So, I'm at school right now. Have a seminar. Should be listening to the presentation. But hey, if they want us to listen, they shouldn't have wireless lan all over the place. Too tempting.
I'm actually close to finishing my part of the seminar paper. Amazing what you can get done in a three hour seminar. Need to spend an hour in the library tomorrow to fill in the blanks...and all the variables and formulas are still missing as well. Hate doing that, cause Word just sucks when it comes to inserting the stuff. Then there are the slides for the presentation, and fitting the two parts of the seminar paper together. And we're done.
I wanted to get the hour-at-the-library done today, but then I ran into a friend and we had to spend the hour gabbing. She's also starting with her graduation paper right now while getting a few final courses done. Only that she has to be finished with the paper by the end of July since she starts working in August. Makes me grateful that I only have a self-imposed deadline.
It's strange, but the closer I get to the end of the semester, the less I want to get there. I really love school, and I really don't want to be finished. I know I'll come back to get my PhD, but that may take a while cause I want to work for a few years first. But school is just so much *fun*. At least for me.
So, I want to finish my C++ program for tomorrow before the seminar is over. Laters, my ducklings...
Hugs,
Kat

Added 4 new wallpapers (one Loyalist, one Laneslider, one Isabel/Tess and one *gasp* Ground Zero). 4 new textures are also up.
Also, I've been trying to write. Well, 'trying' is only partly correct. I did work a bit on "Butterflies are free", but when I open up WTRBTF, nothing comes to me. I just don't know how to start the next part. I know exactly what's going to happen, but all first lines I come up wtih are completely lame, and I hate nothing more than starting a part in a way that will make half the readership fall asleep during the first paragraph. Frustrating.
I also realized just how long it's been since I last updated DTD. I can't even say it, it's so embarassing. So I've been reading through the story a bit to get back into it. Maybe that one will be easier to work on.
But actually, I shouldn't be working on my fics at all right now. I need to finish my part of the seminar paper until Friday afternoon, and I only have three pages so far. The whole paper is supposed to be around 20 pages, so my part should be about ten pages. I should work on it, but I don't want to. Hmm, maybe I should make the font bigger. That's always a handy trick. Number one reason why all my school papers are written in Verdana - it's by far the widest font out of the "normal" ones.
I should also be working on my graduation paper. It needs to be finished till the end of August, and I suppose writing a 100-page paper is a hell of a lot of work. Have I even started? Of course not.
Sigh. One more page of the seminar paper, then I'm stopping for today...
Hugs,
Kat

So, this hiatus actually wasn't planned. I got slightly screwed over by my old host (or at least they tried really hard) and so I cancelled my account there and yes, it took me this long to choose a new host. I got kinda picky after the disaster with the first one.
Anyway, the site is back with a new url, a new layout, tons of new wallpapers and an update of WTRBTF. Took me long enough, I know. I also finally got my ass in gear and got holier than thou online.
Apart from that, nothing too exciting has been going on in my life. I finally settled on a topic for my graduation paper (which is something along the lines of "Stochastic Optimization in combination with Multiple Criteria Optimization applied to Vehicle Routing" - I've got to make that title snappier). So if anybody out there is an expert on one or more of those topics and/or has great C++ skills, let me know.
I'm also working on a new fic, a short-story called "Butterflies are free" which is, of course, x-tremer and I will try to get a new part of WTRBTF out soon.
Hope you like the updates, both art and fic-wise, and that you missed me something terrible. ;)
Hugs,
Kat
